This is a festival for everyone. No previous dance experience is required. All bodies and levels are welcome.
The Open Floor Movement Practice synthesises universal patterns of movement on and off the dance floor. We aim to stay in movement and observe the arising physical sensations throughout the session. We move & include as much of our bodies & selves as we can. Through a few guided exercises & plenty of free exploration, we will connect to ourselves, the people around us, and the web of life we are all part of.
Bence Gáspár (born in Hungary, lives in Berlin) is an Open Floor movement practitioner and teacher, evolutionary biologist (PhD), and critical thinker.
Through his personal healing journey, he experienced how mindfulness and movement improvisation can lead to an embodiment of greater integrity and orientation across inner networks that encompass
our biological, mental, and emotional states, and outer networks of relationships, sociopolitical constructs, and the natural world we are all woven into.
He shares this experience in his classes and workshops in Berlin, internationally and online. He assisted the last Open Floor Teacher Training and serves on Open Floor International’s Board.
Soul Motion is a conscious dance practice at the crossroads between the vertical drop into self and the horizontal extension toward another, to community and spirit. Nurturing the awakening of stillness in every movement moment, we celebrate the miraculous event of this body breathing and moving: now. Soul Motion is improvised movement meditation, in presence and mindfulness, between stillness and ecstasy.
Jens Wazel is an authorized Soul Motion teacher and has been offering classes and workshops for over 20 years in Seattle, San Francisco, Hawaii, and in Berlin. He is the founder of the Bay Area Soul Motion Collective. Jens is also experienced in various other forms of dance, movement theatre and meditation. After 25 years on the American West Coast, Jens now lives in Berlin. He is also a photographer/videographer and has been working on a project to document the history of conscious dance:

5Rhythms is an exploration of how five essential rhythms move through us. Gabrielle Roth created this beautiful map as she witnessed these energies both on and off the dancefloor. As we become more available to these different rhythms in movement, we become more available when they show up in our lives – or even how to call on specific rhythms when needed. Together, we’ll uncover how these energies move through us. We’ll express, feel and connect with ourselves and others through the 5Rhythms. There is no wrong or right on this x-dance floor. There is simply the infinity of what is.
Samar Linn has a promiscuous love affair with music, is enamored by dance and is a curious investigator of freedom of expression. She is a certified 5Rhythms® teacher, a trained Integrative
Counselor and Bodyworker.
Samar runs a range of workshops, private events and weekly classes to bring more curiosity to ourselves, openness to our uniqueness and permission to embrace the magic in daily life. Her raw
attitude, vulnerability, and artistic ways to embody aliveness provide an electric, creative and safe environment. Wherever you might meet.

Whirling is an ancient Sufi technique, where you whirl on the spot with your arms outstretched. Accompanied by musicians playing traditional Sufi music, Dhyana will share a space for you to learn and experience this active meditation that helps the mind to relax, moving you into a soft, and silent space – the very center of your being.
Dance Alchemy is an opportunity to explore life issues and transform the emotions behind it. With movement and presence we allow things that are hidden in the unconscious mind to be revealed,
expressed and felt. Allowing ourselves to feel, we become more grounded in our bodies. Our sensitivity, resilience, and capacity to be more present in daily life expands, no matter the
situation.
This workshop supports you with a guided exploration of your inner world through dance, presence and acceptance. A way to transform and to free blocked energy into aliveness and celebration.
In a light trance, combining let go with alertness, explore and befriend your bodymind‘s creative and self-healing energies. Sitting or lying down, you will be guided into a space of relaxed awareness using gentle soothing music and spaces of silence.
The session is based on the meditative therapy OSHO Reminding Yourself of the Forgotten Language of Talking to Your BodyMind.

movement.

A guided journey to explore ways of interacting and connecting with dance partners. Through experiential exercises in duos and trios, you’ll discover fluid, gender-neutral connections and create your own shared movement vocabulary. Drawing on traditional partner dance, contemporary dance, bodywork, and the Liberato Method, this workshop offers a safe, playful space for embodied exploration.
Jaque & Jan, born in Brazil and Germany respectedly are Berlin-based movers, teachers, facilitators and space-holders who weave partner and solo dance with bodywork into a practice of presence and connection.
Jan brings over two decades in contemporary dance and Brazilian Zouk, shaping Berlin’s Zouk community and exploring movement as a path to awareness and creativity. Jaque, rooted in Brazilian ballroom, is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where dance fosters healing, empowerment, and belonging.
Together, they share Conscious Partner Dance —a practice of touch, trust, and dialogue between partners. Grounded in inclusion, mutual respect, and deep listening, UPD embraces gender-neutral roles where leading and following flow freely. Trained in the Liberato Method, Jan & Jaque invite dancers into freedom, creativity, and the joy of co-creation in motion.
Authentic Movement is a powerful contemplative practice in which a person, with eyes closed, follows inner impulses to move, remain still, and explore space, sounds, images, memories, or sensations—while another person actively and non-judgmentally witnesses the experience.
The witness provides a supportive container, allowing the mover to express what arises in their presence. After the movement, verbal sharing takes place between the two: the mover speaks first about their experience, and—if permission is granted—the witness responds in service of the mover, articulating what they observed and how they were affected by the movement.
Ulrika Sprenger is a teacher of Authentic Movement, a Halprin Practitioner, and a movement-based Expressive Arts Therapist.
Through movement, dance, and creative expression, she explores how the body holds both personal history and the influence of its surroundings.
Her work is a search for truth and authenticity—an invitation to move, listen, and create, and in doing so, to connect with who you are and how your life speaks through your body.
She lives and practices in Berlin.
